Head of Cybersecurity

About the role

beqom is seeking an experienced Head of Cybersecurity to lead and mature its security function. You will be the senior security authority for a fast‑growing SaaS organisation of about 250 employees, responsible for protecting customer data, ensuring compliance and enabling secure business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the overall cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Build a security‑first culture across engineering and business teams.
• Report security risks and posture to executive leadership and the board.
• Maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance programmes.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
• Oversee cloud security for AWS and Azure environments and SaaS application security.
• Implement and improve security monitoring, detection, vulnerability management, penetration testing and incident response.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and promote DevSecOps, zero‑trust and identity‑access management.
• Represent beqom in customer security reviews, audits and prospect due‑diligence calls.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in information security within a SaaS or technology company.
• Track record of building and scaling security teams and programmes.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Ability to work closely with engineering, product, legal and compliance stakeholders.
