Head of New Product Development & Quality

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of New Product Development (NPD) and Quality to lead our innovation and quality functions across multiple manufacturing sites. This newly created senior position will play a pivotal role in driving food safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement as the business prepares for rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the NPD and Quality teams across all manufacturing facilities.
• Design, implement and maintain best‑in‑class food safety and quality systems that support the company’s strategic objectives.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for global customers on food safety and innovation matters.
• Protect the business from food safety risks by assessing, managing and mitigating hazards.
• Provide leadership and governance for technical and manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and uphold brand values through ethical and integrity‑focused practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing people and cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Calm under pressure, rational decision‑maker and hands‑on problem‑solver.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to gain buy‑in from stakeholders.
• Experience with HACCP accreditation and a background in the FMCG/food sector.
