Health & Safety Officer (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for a Health & Safety Officer to join our construction team on a flagship residential development in Dublin City. The role involves ensuring compliance with Irish health and safety regulations across the site and supporting the project’s safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Support site management on all health and safety matters.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses.
• Prepare, review and manage RAMS and related safety documentation.
• Maintain accurate health and safety records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a construction health and safety role.
• Level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Full clean driving licence.
