HGV Oil Tanker Driver – Kilkenny

About the role

Top Oil is seeking an experienced HGV Oil Tanker Driver to join its Kilkenny depot. You will be responsible for loading, transporting and delivering oil safely, while providing a professional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and secure oil tankers in line with company procedures and legal standards.
• Deliver oil to customers promptly, handling any spillage according to safety protocols.
• Maintain courteous and safe driving practices, complying with road legislation and company policies.
• Complete daily stock reconciliation, loading dockets, and vehicle checklists.
• Manage cash received from customers and ensure accurate hand‑over to the depot.
• Report vehicle defects, spillage incidents and any operational issues to the supervisor immediately.

Required profile

• Current C licence.
• ADR/Hazchem qualification (desirable) and CPC certificate (essential).
• Experience in logistics, freight or oil transport industry.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Ability to follow health‑and‑safety regulations and company policies.
