Home Care Assistant – Morning Shifts

About the role

WHC HomeCare Services is seeking compassionate Home Care Assistants to provide morning support to clients in Listowel and the surrounding North Kerry area. This role allows you to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while working hours that fit a morning‑focused schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Support clients in preparing meals, taking medication, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and encourage independence.
• Travel to client homes safely, recording travel time and mileage.
• Maintain accurate care notes and communicate any concerns to the care team.

Required profile

• A caring, reliable, and compassionate nature.
• Full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to assist with personal care and daily activities.
