About the role

This full‑time Home Health Nurse position is based in Limerick and focuses on educating patients and their families on the safe use of respiratory equipment. The role involves monitoring patient conditions in the community and responding promptly to any changes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide education and training to patients and families on respiratory equipment usage.
• Assess and monitor patients’ health status during home visits.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
• Travel within the Limerick area as required, ensuring timely service delivery.

Required profile

• Current nursing registration/licensure in accordance with local regulations.
• Strong clinical foundation in nursing and medicine.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in home care or community‑based nursing services.
• Excellent communication, compassionate approach, and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally.
