Hose Service Centre Technician

About the role

Hydroscand is seeking a Hose Service Centre Technician to join its aftermarket team in Dundalk. You will deliver top‑class customer service while handling a variety of technical and administrative tasks within the service centre.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise health and safety by following all safety guidelines.
• Develop product knowledge of Hydroscand’s hydraulic hose range to advise customers at the trade counter and by phone.
• Engage with customers professionally, listen to their needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Assemble and repair hoses, reproducing damaged units through reverse engineering.
• Prepare accurate quotations, manage invoices, shipping documents and courier bookings.
• Maintain optimal stock levels through regular cycle counts and inventory management.
• Pick, pack and dispatch products to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Keep the service centre tidy and organised through routine housekeeping.
• Support the store manager and collaborate with colleagues on daily duties.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Reliable, flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Comfortable using computers and the MS Office suite.
• Hands‑on approach with proven ability to perform practical tasks.
