About the role

As a Hotel Duty Manager at Ruby, you will lead the daily shift operations, ensuring that every guest experience runs smoothly across the bar, service floor, and front office. You will be the point of contact for the team, maintaining high standards of service, quality, and hygiene while embodying Ruby’s Lean Luxury philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the shift team, coordinating activities behind the bar, on the service floor, and at the front desk.
• Ensure compliance with service, quality, and hygiene standards with meticulous attention to detail.
• Train, coach, and onboard new team members, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Facilitate clear communication within the team and manage the flow of information.
• Handle guest feedback promptly, delivering efficient resolutions.
• Share local insider tips with guests to enhance their stay and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar duty‑manager or shift‑supervisor role, preferably in a trendy hospitality or lifestyle hotel.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and a strong sense of reliability.
• Excellent multitasking abilities and a willingness to learn.
• Confident, joyful personality with a good sense of humor.
• Comfortable serving international, demanding guests with a smart, solution‑focused approach.
• Fluent English communication skills.
