Hotel Events Operations Manager / Assistant Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a prestigious five‑star venue in Dublin to hire an Operations Manager and an Assistant Operations Manager for our Meetings & Events team. The successful candidates will lead the delivery of a wide range of events, from conferences and banquets to weddings and corporate functions, ensuring every guest experience is exceptional.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution and post‑event analysis of meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings and corporate events.
• Lead, motivate and develop front‑of‑house teams to maintain high service standards.
• Coordinate staffing levels, rostering and departmental performance to meet event demands.
• Collaborate closely with sales, catering and other operational departments to maximise event success.
• Drive operational excellence, monitor service quality and ensure guest satisfaction throughout each event.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Meetings & Events, Conference & Banqueting or large‑scale hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with a focus on delivering flawless events.
• Excellent communication and guest‑service skills.
• Commercial awareness and a solid understanding of operational best practices.
