Hotel Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a professional Receptionist to join our hotel team and deliver the highest standards of guest service. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, handling all related paperwork and key management.
• Respond to guest enquiries by phone and at the front desk.
• Process cash transactions and follow all cash‑handling procedures.
• Accept, record, and confirm reservations in line with company policy.
• Maintain accurate entries in the Guestline property management system.
• Stay informed about hotel facilities and department products to assist guests effectively.
• Promote hotel sales and cross‑sell services.
• Participate in training, appraisals, and departmental meetings.
• Adhere to hygiene, health & safety, fire, licensing and employment regulations.

Required profile

• Available to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.
• Strong commitment to guest care and team collaboration.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.
• Willingness to attend training and continuous improvement sessions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Guestline property management system.
