Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

The Diamond Coast Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join its hospitality team. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a pleasant and memorable stay for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest bedrooms and public areas according to established standards.
• Perform deep‑cleaning tasks and routine housekeeping duties as scheduled.
• Report any maintenance defects that could affect guest experience or safety.
• Provide in‑room amenities such as water, gifts, and fruit following hotel protocols.
• Handle waste disposal, including wet waste, glass, and recyclables, safely and responsibly.
• Attend weekly briefings and communicate effectively with the housekeeping team and management.

Required profile

• Reliability and punctuality for shift duties.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills to respond promptly to guest requests.
• Physical stamina for cleaning and moving equipment.
