Housing Officer (Midlands)

About the role
The Housing Officer will be the visible face of our housing services within a designated locality in the Midlands. You will deliver high‑quality lettings and housing management, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance with regulatory standards, and achievement of key performance indicators.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Housing Services Manager in planning and delivering operational priorities.
- Work with the Lettings Team to minimise void periods and achieve lettings KPIs.
- Provide end‑to‑end housing management in line with tenancy agreements and statutory requirements.
- Conduct property viewings, sign‑ups and hand‑over packs as directed.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including CREL, to improve service delivery and customer engagement.
- Monitor and report on performance against KPIs and regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑focus with the ability to manage the full tenancy lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and partnership skills across teams and external partners.
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism.
Required skills
- Knowledge of tenancy agreements and housing legislation.
- Experience with lettings processes and property management.
