HR Business Partner – 12 Month Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support for a defined business unit in Dublin. This 12‑month fixed‑term role covers maternity leave and offers a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business unit leadership to deliver the people strategy.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through exit.
• Lead workforce and resource planning to meet future capability needs.
• Support and coach managers on performance and probation management.
• Develop and implement employee retention initiatives.
• Lead and advise on disciplinary investigations and hearings.
• Drive talent management and succession planning with clear action plans.
• Prepare and present HR updates, data and people metrics to senior leadership.
• Oversee the annual pay review process.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support and guidance across the business.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist role.
• Excellent influencing, coaching and presentation capabilities.
• Resilient and confident, able to operate in a dynamic environment.
• Relevant third‑level qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline (CIPD membership desirable).

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Advanced HR or similar).
