HR Business Partner – Strategic & Tactical Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a global FMCG organisation in Dublin West. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will act as a trusted advisor, balancing day‑to‑day HR issues with long‑term strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategy with commercial goals.
• Provide coaching on leadership, team effectiveness and organisational design.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, including grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Lead workforce planning, talent mapping and succession planning activities.
• Drive organisational design and change projects to improve agility and performance.
• Support the delivery of employee engagement surveys and annual reward schemes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a large, multi‑site environment.
• Strong ability to influence senior management and challenge thinking.
• Comfortable handling tension, making difficult decisions and saying “no” when needed.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with grievance and disciplinary procedures.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, talent development and succession planning.
• Familiarity with organisational design and change management.
