HR Business Partner – Strategic & Tactical Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a global FMCG organisation in Dublin West. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, balancing day‑to‑day HR operations with long‑term strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategy with commercial objectives.
• Provide coaching on leadership, team effectiveness and organisational design.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, including grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Support workforce planning, talent mapping and succession planning.
• Drive organisational design and change initiatives to improve agility.
• Lead talent development and retention programmes, such as employee engagement surveys and annual reward schemes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast‑moving, consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong ability to influence senior management and challenge thinking.
• Comfortable handling tension, making difficult decisions and saying “no” when necessary.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
