HR Director – Dublin

About the role

As the HR Director for Ipsen’s Dublin site, you will join the Site Leadership Team and act as a trusted strategic partner to the Site Head and senior leaders. You will shape people strategy, culture and business performance across manufacturing and global functions, driving organisational effectiveness, talent development and cultural transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives.
• Serve as a core member of the Site Leadership Team, influencing organisational performance and transformation.
• Lead talent, succession and leadership development initiatives to build future capability.
• Champion employee engagement, wellbeing and a strong speak‑up culture.
• Oversee employee relations, ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation and Ipsen policies.
• Drive excellence in core HR processes, including performance, compensation and talent reviews.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Reward and Internal Communications.
• Use people insights and workforce analytics to inform strategic decisions.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing HR team.

Required profile

• Significant HR leadership experience within a complex, international organisation.
• Proven partnership with senior leaders in manufacturing, biotechnology or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong expertise in organisational design, talent management, employee relations and change leadership.
• Ability to influence, challenge and coach senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, leadership and relationship‑building skills.
• Data‑driven mindset with solid business acumen.
• Experience leading teams and driving cultural transformation in fast‑paced settings.
