HR Generalist – Dublin City South

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive HR Generalist to join our growing team in Dublin City South. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will receive hands‑on training and mentorship while gaining experience across recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, compliance and employee support. This role offers a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same and provides genuine career development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, from job approval and advertising to screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, mortgage references and other employee documentation.
• Act as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day employee queries and provide practical HR guidance.
• Assist with probation reviews, contractual changes, record updates and off‑boarding procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee files and keep HR systems up to date.
• Support annual HR and compliance audits and help with health & safety administration.
• Assist with facilities or office‑related issues to ensure efficient resolution.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in HR administration, coordination or an early HR Generalist role.
• Third‑level HR qualification or progress towards a CIPD certification.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Approachable, professional and people‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
