HR Generalist

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our flagship site in Edgeworthstown. Reporting to the Group HR Manager, you will gain exposure to the full spectrum of HR activities in a fast‑moving, international pet‑food business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the complete employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, inductions, contract administration, file management and leaver processes.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment tasks, from job requisitions and adverts to interviews, reference checks and medicals.
• Maintain and administer SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring accurate employee data.
• Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company standards and audit requirements (SMETA, SAQ, Ecovadis).
• Monitor attendance, absenteeism and long‑term sickness, working with managers on case management.
• Administer HR correspondence, contracts, pay amendments and personnel records.
• Coordinate wellbeing initiatives, employee engagement programmes and DEI activities.
• Produce quarterly site newsletters and other internal communications.
