HR Lead – Recruitment & Employee Relations

About the role

The HR Lead will drive recruitment, employee relations and retention initiatives for Dovida’s Irish operations. You will work closely with the national HR team, senior management and frontline staff to ensure a seamless employee experience from hire to exit.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct second‑round interviews for pre‑screened candidates and oversee timely onboarding and shift assignment.
• Support National Hiring Week events and act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, relations issues, and off‑boarding processes.
• Manage sickness, unplanned absences, and maintain staff benefits, morale, and retention programs.
• Lead caregiver probation, coordinate mid‑year and annual appraisals, and organise engagement events such as appreciation weeks and seasonal celebrations.
• Maintain compliant employee files, update HR policies and handbooks, and assist with annual audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management.
• 4‑5 years of HR experience, preferably within the home‑care or healthcare sector.
• Strong accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to work independently.
• Proven capability to lead HR coordinators and collaborate with senior leadership on HR strategy.
