HR Manager – Dynamic FMCG Company

About the role

Boyne Valley Group, a long‑standing leader in the FMCG market, is looking for an HR Manager to join its fast‑paced, values‑driven team. The role will provide hands‑on HR support across the full employee lifecycle and partner with business leaders to deliver practical, people‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers on day‑to‑day HR matters, balancing operational delivery with continuous improvement.
• Own the complete employee lifecycle – recruitment coordination, onboarding, probation, contract changes, performance support, employee relations, absence management and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate HR administration, employee files, templates and correspondence.
• Develop, review and keep HR policies, procedures and templates compliant with legislation.
• Improve HR systems, trackers and reporting to provide timely, reliable data for decision‑making.
• Support organisational change initiatives by introducing efficient processes and ways of working.
• Collaborate with payroll and internal stakeholders to ensure timely HR inputs and documentation.
• Provide expert employee‑relations advice in line with company policy and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role within a multi‑function environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and follow‑up actions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with managers and employees.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HR administration and documentation.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in maintaining HR information systems, trackers and reporting tools.
