HR Manager – Galway (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join the Management Team at our Galway site. This permanent, standalone position will influence business decisions, shape company culture, and drive initiatives that support growth and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Management Team on all people‑related matters.
• Lead the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through exit.
• Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment law and HR best practice.
• Coach and support managers on HR issues.
• Deliver HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead employee engagement and communication initiatives.
• Own and develop HR processes and the HRIS.
• Oversee benefits administration and collaborate with Payroll on compensation data.

Required profile

• Degree and/or CIPD qualification in HR or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as an HR Manager, Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
• Manufacturing/SME experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations.
• Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and proposal development skills.
• Experience managing HR systems and driving process improvements.
