HR Officer – Support 1,000+ Employees

About the role

Ryanair is seeking an HR Officer to support over 1,000 aviation professionals across its European network. The role combines employee‑relations, HR administration and legal case handling while travelling to assigned bases to meet staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full HR function for up to 1,000+ employees in designated locations.
• Monitor absence and turnover, identify trends and take corrective action.
• Provide advice and support to managers on queries, grievances, disciplinary investigations and legal case preparation.
• Maintain HR databases and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date records.
• Prepare contracts, payroll references and other HR documentation.
• Produce weekly HR reports for the HR Manager.
• Travel across Europe to conduct employee meetings, interviews and negotiations.
• Participate in ad‑hoc HR projects as required.

Required profile

• Relevant HR or business degree.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, initiative‑driven and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
