Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, people‑centred HR professional to join Dublin Simon Community as a Human Resources Business Partner. In this role you will influence HR practices, support employee relations, and ensure accurate payroll administration, contributing to a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with designated business functions and provide HR expertise to line managers.
• Lead payroll preparation, administration and related processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Advise managers on employee‑relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances and conflict resolution.
• Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Irish employment legislation and organisational values.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding, conduct exit interviews and analyse reports.
• Maintain HR information systems and ensure data integrity.
• Produce monthly HR metrics reports and analyse key performance indicators.
• Support employee engagement initiatives such as surveys, analysis, facilitation and events.
• Review, update and implement HR policies and administrative processes.
• Assist with compliance, audits and change programmes, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams.

Required profile

• Professional HR experience with a focus on employee relations, payroll and compliance.
• Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders and provide clear guidance.
• Knowledge of Irish employment legislation and best HR practices.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
