Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

This permanent, hybrid position is based in Greater Dublin and reports to a senior HR manager. The HR Business Partner will work closely with senior leaders across commercial, operational and support functions, blending strategic partnership with hands‑on generalist HR work.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to translate commercial priorities into practical people plans.
• Build strong relationships with managers and support a distributed, field‑based workforce.
• Develop managers’ people‑management capability, including performance, feedback and difficult conversations.
• Manage employee‑relations cases end‑to‑end, providing consistent guidance.
• Support business change, restructuring and integration with a focus on people impact.
• Use HR data and analytics to identify trends and inform decision‑making.
• Contribute to talent management, succession planning and capability development.
• Drive diversity, inclusion and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR standards.
• Collaborate with recruitment on hiring, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Participate in wider People projects and mentor junior HR team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a multi‑site or fast‑paced commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management and Irish employment law.
• Experience supporting a distributed or field‑based workforce.
• Genuine curiosity about the business and ability to engage senior leaders.
• Comfort with ambiguity, organisational change and restructuring.
