Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner will support a dispersed, operational workforce across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Working across two operational divisions, you will act as the day‑to‑day HR lead for several hundred employees while contributing to broader people strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers and business leaders at multiple sites to identify people needs and deliver hands‑on HR support.
• Handle employee‑relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance matters.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle – shortlisting, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
• Advise managers on employment law, HR policy and people‑management practice in both ROI and NI jurisdictions.
• Support compliance obligations across both jurisdictions.
• Contribute to employee‑engagement, talent development, coaching and succession‑planning initiatives.
• Help design, implement and review HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice.
• Assist with organisational design and M&A‑related people activities as required.
• Regularly visit sites to maintain a strong on‑the‑ground presence.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including generalist or business‑partnering responsibilities.
• Proven experience working in a hands‑on, multi‑site environment.
• Strong working knowledge of employment law in both ROI and NI.
• Experience in fast‑paced, operationally complex settings.

What we offer

• Salary: €50,000 – €55,000 per year.
• Car allowance: €10,000 plus mileage.
• Performance bonus: 10% target.
