Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, people‑focused Human Resources Business Partner to help shape an engaging, high‑performing workplace. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, driving initiatives that improve employee experience, compliance, performance, and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees on day‑to‑day matters.
• Manage recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
• Lead employee‑relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Support performance management, learning and development, and succession planning.
• Review and develop HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Oversee absence, wellbeing, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and produce people metrics and reports.
• Support organisational change and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, values‑led workplace culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven ability to handle employee‑relations cases from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in recruitment and talent development.
• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred) or equivalent experience.
