Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support our client in Tralee, County Kerry. You will work closely with managers and employees to deliver strategic and operational HR support, fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide expert HR advice and guidance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
• Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance processes.
• Advise on employment legislation, HR policies, and best practice.
• Assist with workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational change.
• Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and learning initiatives.
• Analyse HR data and prepare reports to support business decisions.
• Ensure accurate HR records and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• CIPD qualification or working towards accreditation is desirable.
• Previous experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

What we offer

• Initial 15‑month fixed‑term contract.

• Salary range €50,000 – €62,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
