Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The HR Generalist will be the first point of contact for operational HR and facility queries, supporting the business across the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will gain exposure to recruitment, employee relations, health & safety, and learning & development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist hiring managers with recruitment: update job specs, advertise roles, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation reviews, performance reviews, contractual changes, and off‑boarding.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and coordinate external audits.
• Oversee facility‑related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR system updates (Oracle and TMS).
• Respond to HR queries promptly and provide advice to managers and staff.
• Support compensation and benefits processes, including payroll and employee benefits administration.
• Coordinate learning and development initiatives and propose relevant training.
• Assist the Head of HR with reporting and ad‑hoc business requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role.
• Relevant HR qualification (e.g., CIPD) or actively pursuing one.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professionalism, discretion, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Oracle.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
