Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join a leading professional services organisation on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is hybrid, based in Wexford, and offers the chance to work across the full employee lifecycle while focusing on employee relations and HR projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR support and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of matters.
• Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management and investigations.
• Coach managers on best practices and ensure HR policies comply with Irish legislation.
• Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement, organisational change and process improvement.
• Assist with HR reporting, documentation and maintenance of employee records.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver commercially‑focused HR advice.
• Contribute to the review and enhancement of HR policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a generalist HR role with strong employee relations exposure.
• Sound knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
