Human Resources Manager

About the role

This senior HR position sits on the senior leadership team of a well‑established Irish manufacturing business. You will own a standalone HR function, supporting managers and employees while driving strategic people initiatives during a period of significant transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through onboarding, development and off‑boarding.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management and people development.
• Design and deliver Learning & Development and performance management programmes.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Support organisational change and major systems implementation projects.
• Develop HR policies, processes and employee engagement initiatives.
• Provide both strategic and operational HR support across the business.

Required profile

• HR qualification with strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Proven experience in a standalone HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Demonstrated employee‑relations and business‑partnering expertise.
• Ability to influence managers and build relationships at all levels.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable in a fast‑paced operational environment.
