Human Resources Officer – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term in Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer to join a dynamic supply‑chain team in Dublin West on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working closely with the HR Business Partner and Operations, you will deliver a full suite of HR services that support business objectives and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end HR administration, including recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, off‑boarding, retirement and status changes.
• Oversee HR KPIs, payroll submissions and resolve payroll queries.
• Support managers with performance management, absence handling, conflict resolution and employee engagement.
• Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and contribute to employer branding initiatives.
• Assist with employee relations matters such as investigations, disciplinary meetings and hearings, including minute‑taking and drafting correspondence.
• Provide expert advice on HR policies, ensuring consistent and fair application across the site.
• Help deliver an engagement framework to foster high‑performing teams and a strong culture.
• Maintain accurate, secure digital employee records.

Required profile

• Degree or qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline.
• CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and the ability to advise managers confidently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt working hours for occasional shift meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
