IAM Systems Administrator – 6-Month Contract (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Systems Administrator to lead a high‑risk, high‑impact identity security hardening programme for a multinational client. The role is a six‑month contract, hybrid working from Dublin, focused on strengthening Active Directory and Entra ID environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end hybrid identity security transformation across AD and Entra ID, based on external audit findings and compliance targets.
• Design, implement and enforce advanced Group Policy Objects and Entra ID Conditional Access policies to reduce the attack surface.
• Manage Privileged Access Management frameworks, Microsoft Entra Privileged Identity Management and enterprise‑wide MFA rollouts.
• Collaborate with Intune teams to align device compliance baselines with identity governance.
• Conduct risk assessments before applying security baselines to avoid service disruptions.
• Analyse and mitigate downstream impacts on Intune, network segments, firewalls and OneDrive.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as an Active Directory / Entra ID Identity Security Engineer in complex hybrid environments.
• Proven track record delivering AD and cloud identity hardening projects driven by audit or regulatory requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with PAM/PIM solutions and enterprise MFA deployments.
• Demonstrated ability to align Intune device compliance with identity security strategies.
• Industry‑recognised Microsoft Identity or Security certifications (e.g., SC‑300, SC‑100, AZ‑500).
