Immigration Legal Executive

About the role

The law firm in Dublin is expanding its immigration team and seeks a proactive Immigration Legal Executive. You will work closely with solicitors and clients to manage a diverse portfolio of immigration matters, ensuring high‑quality service from initial instruction to final resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage immigration files from start to finish, maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare and submit applications for visas, residence permits, citizenship, family reunification, employment permits and international protection.
• Liaise with clients, government departments and relevant agencies to gather information and provide updates.
• Draft correspondence, legal submissions and other documentation required for immigration cases.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal filing standards.
• Support solicitors with immigration‑related litigation and appeals as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience handling all aspects of Irish immigration law.
• Strong knowledge of current immigration legislation, policies and procedures.
• Excellent organisational and case‑management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Not suitable for FE1 candidates.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with legal case management systems.
