Inbound Transport Coordinator

About the role

The Inbound Transport Coordinator is responsible for the day‑to‑day coordination of inbound freight across road, sea and air modes. Working in a fast‑paced environment, the role ensures that products from global suppliers reach Keelings' distribution network efficiently, compliantly and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound logistics activities, including scheduling, container planning and haulage arrangements.
• Monitor shipments, communicate delays or disruptions, and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with suppliers, hauliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs agents to secure timely collection and delivery.
• Prepare and update freight documentation, transport records and logistics system entries.
• Support customs clearance by coordinating required paperwork with customs agents.
• Track supplier delivery performance and contribute to cost‑control initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Inbound Transport Manager, Supply Chain Director and cross‑functional teams such as Procurement, Sales, Warehouse and Planning.
