Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Support Engineer to provide first‑line assistance for a leading medical‑devices client. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software, supporting clinical workstations, and ensuring smooth operation of medical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone and email queries, delivering first‑line support for all equipment and software.
• Perform full troubleshooting procedures before escalating to second‑line supplier support.
• Diagnose faults, resolve technical issues, and guide customers through solutions, including spare‑part replacements via phone or video call.
• Complete remote software installations on new equipment and configure PCs or workstations in clinics.
• Create and manage technical cases in the CRM system, logging updates and communication accurately.
• Generate quotes and quotation reports, communicate them to end customers, and provide preventive advice after issue resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support.
• Relevant third‑level IT qualification.
• Proven ability to complete assigned projects successfully.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
