About the role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Counsel to support a leading technology company's data centre expansion across EMEA. This fully remote, 40‑hour‑per‑week position focuses on planning, land use, development and environmental permitting for hyperscale datacentre projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on planning, zoning and environmental permitting for EMEA infrastructure projects.
- Draft, negotiate and finalize development agreements.
- Advocate for regulatory changes to streamline permitting processes.
- Manage external counsel and coordinate legal support.
- Develop templates, playbooks and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure legal compliance.
Required profile
- 5–8+ years post‑qualification experience in real estate, planning or environmental law.
- Experience with large infrastructure projects and EU environmental review processes.
- Background in a law firm, government agency or in‑house legal department.
- Qualified to practice law in the UK or an EU member state.

- Competitive hourly rate of $100‑$112.
- Fixed‑term contract for 5 months.
