Inside Sales Executive

About the role

Our client is a long‑established supplier of industrial products to local authorities, merchants and contractors. They are seeking an Inside Sales Executive to help capitalise on market opportunities, grow the customer base and increase revenues. The role is based in Dublin 22, initially fully onsite with the possibility of remote work later.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong, leverageable relationships with existing customers.
• Identify sales opportunities for the full product range to existing customers.
• Create routes to market for new products through creative promotional activities.
• Apply tailored approaches to grow sales with local authorities, merchants, contractors and industry.
• Utilise marketing and merchandising tools to promote the full product portfolio.
• Manage customer accounts and deliver the highest level of service.
• Monitor product stock levels to ensure rapid response to customer needs.
• Support field sales operations and provide qualified leads.
• Maintain margins on all sales.
• Achieve personal and divisional sales targets.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of inside B2B sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Proven track record of meeting B2B sales targets.
• Ability to manage existing accounts and cold‑call new prospects.
• Exceptional organisational abilities and proficiency with sales databases and Excel.
• Strong communication skills with internal teams, customers and suppliers.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented personality.
• Nice to have: knowledge of industrial products such as water meters and piping, engineering or related degree, experience selling to local authorities and contractors.

What we offer

• Fixed salary €35,000‑€40,000 per year plus OTE up to €75,000.
• Full‑time permanent position.
• On‑site work in Dublin with potential for hybrid/remote arrangements later.
