Internal Audit Specialist - IT

About the role

Accenture’s Internal Audit Department is seeking an IT‑focused Internal Audit Specialist to join its Dublin team. You will help design and execute risk‑based audit plans, focusing on emerging technology risks and providing advisory support to business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in creating and executing the risk‑based audit plan and report findings to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Conduct audits that assess emerging risk areas such as cyber security, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, robotic process automation and the Internet of Things.
• Provide advisory services to help business units identify and manage technology‑related risks in new offerings and corporate initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge through Accenture’s training programs.

Required profile

• Agile, highly‑motivated professional with a background in audit, risk or compliance.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT auditing.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or Finance.
• Interest in working with senior leadership, emerging technologies and flexible work arrangements.
