Investment Analyst – Dublin

About the role

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to join Hermes Fund Managers Ireland Limited in Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Investment, you will support the investment management function by analysing a range of products across public markets, private equity, private credit, money market funds and trade finance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed portfolio analysis to assess exposures, asset allocations, risk concentrations and performance trends.
• Interpret investment guidelines against regulatory and client mandates, flagging potential breaches.
• Organise and attend calls with portfolio managers to discuss mandates and the impact of proposed strategies.
• Analyse market events and regulatory developments and assess their impact on investment theses.
• Support oversight of investment decision‑making across equities, fixed income, derivatives and alternatives.
• Evaluate new investment products, perform rule‑mapping and scenario analysis.
• Prepare investment‑focused reports and dashboards for senior management and committees.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects across the Irish office and the wider Federated Hermes group.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of data analysis and portfolio analysis techniques.
• Understanding of investment guidelines, regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Experience communicating with portfolio managers and senior stakeholders.
