Investment Analyst – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to join a fast‑growing renewable energy business operating across the island of Ireland. The role sits at the intersection of energy, investment and infrastructure, supporting valuation, due diligence, financing and market analysis for new and existing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop risk‑adjusted valuation models that integrate commercial, technical, financial, tax and due‑diligence inputs.
• Support acquisition due‑diligence and project financing activities.
• Prepare investment cases for internal management and board approval.
• Conduct regional market and competitive analyses to identify new project opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations to assess performance of existing assets.
• Assist in negotiations with vendors, joint‑venture partners and financiers.
• Help create board materials and presentations for strategic investors.

Required profile

• Honours degree in finance, engineering, science or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in energy finance, investment banking, project finance or M&A.
• Strong analytical, written and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
