Investment Associate – Private Equity

About the role

The Investment Associate will join a leading private equity firm in Dublin, supporting the full lifecycle of transactions from sourcing to portfolio management. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of businesses and the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in originating new investment opportunities and conducting initial screening.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, market research and company valuations.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support deal execution, including due‑diligence coordination and negotiation with advisors.
• Monitor and assist portfolio companies post‑investment, contributing to value‑creation initiatives.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in corporate finance, transaction services, investment banking or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of private‑equity markets and deal processes.
• ACA or CFA qualification is essential.
• Excellent analytical, communication and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
