iOS Software Engineer (AI‑focused)

About the role

We are looking for an iOS Software Engineer to own the iOS client experience of our AI‑powered personal assistant. You will build a production‑grade iOS application where AI interactions are central to the product, ensuring performance, reliability and user trust.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate AI‑driven features through backend APIs, handling streaming responses, loading states, retries and fall‑backs.
• Design UX patterns that convey AI behavior and maintain user confidence.
• Optimize app performance, memory usage and battery consumption.
• Capture user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation and iteration.
• Collaborate with backend and machine‑learning engineers on API design and system behavior.
• Ensure high App Store quality, stability and production reliability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI‑powered features into mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of async/await, concurrency and background tasks.
• Proven ability to optimise performance, memory and battery usage.
• Experience shipping and maintaining production iOS applications.
• Comfort designing for latency, partial failure and non‑deterministic AI behavior.
• Exposure to CoreML or on‑device ML frameworks.
• Familiarity with feature‑flags or remote‑configuration systems.
