IT & AV Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT & AV Support Engineer to deliver first‑class technical assistance across the organisation. The role blends traditional IT support with hands‑on management of audiovisual equipment used in meeting rooms, events and collaboration spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS and common business applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and onboarding/off‑boarding processes.
• Maintain IT asset registers, documentation and follow cybersecurity best practices.
• Set up and troubleshoot AV equipment, video‑conferencing systems, displays, projectors, audio gear and digital signage.
• Support platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and hybrid meeting solutions.
• Coordinate routine checks, preventative maintenance and liaise with external AV vendors.
• Deliver excellent customer service, respond to tickets within SLAs and assist with IT/AV projects, upgrades and office moves.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support and/or AV support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking fundamentals (Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, switching).
• Experience with video‑conferencing platforms (Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms) and meeting‑room troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and support occasional out‑of‑hours events.
• Desirable experience with macOS, Intune, Active Directory, Azure AD, digital signage platforms and control systems such as Crestron, Extron or Q‑SYS.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, CTS) and ITIL knowledge are a plus.
