IT Deskside Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Deskside Support Engineer to provide onsite technical assistance at our client’s head office in Dublin. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, supporting a wide range of users including senior executives, and ensuring every support request is handled with urgency and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive help‑desk support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Resolve Okta login problems, perform password resets and manage user lifecycle events.
• Handle email configuration tasks such as forwards and distribution lists.
• Ship and set up equipment including laptops and printers.
• Provide support for hybrid infrastructure services across Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Maintain Azure resources – virtual machines, security groups, endpoint management and Entra ID.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and follow problem‑management processes.
• Document all incidents and resolutions in the help‑desk system.
• Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Service‑oriented attitude with proven IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems and iOS.
• Experience with Azure, MDM, Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a customer‑centric approach.
• Hold an Azure certification or a relevant IT degree together with hands‑on experience.
