IT Manufacturing Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated IT professional to deliver onsite Level‑2 support for manufacturing and R&D environments, ensuring systems are secure, efficient and aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level‑2 support for desktops, operating systems, antivirus solutions and manufacturing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents, documenting solutions accurately.
• Support integration of manufacturing systems in line with Industry 4.0 standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, advanced operations and R&D teams.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles and promote shift‑left initiatives.
• Maintain IT security compliance through patching, antivirus updates and firewall management.
• Participate in global IT projects and enterprise system roll‑outs.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
• Support shop‑floor systems and machine‑level integrations.
• Assist with incident, problem, change and asset management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in manufacturing or R&D.
• ITIL Foundation certification (required).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
