IT Support Engineer – Dublin (Onsite)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their Dublin City Centre team. The role is fully onsite, offering hands‑on support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and a range of business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 services, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, DNS, DHCP, VPN and performance issues.
• Log, manage and resolve incidents via an ITIL‑based ticketing system.
• Support Windows Server environments and assist with IT asset management.
• Escalate complex technical problems and produce clear documentation.
• Occasionally provide out‑of‑hours support when required.

Required profile

• Strong Level 1/Level 2 desktop support experience.
• Hands‑on administration of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
• Experience troubleshooting network services (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Support for iOS and Android devices, printers and laptops.
• Familiarity with an IT service‑desk or ticketing system.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
