Junior Energy Broker

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive individual with a strong interest in sales and the energy sector to join Marex as a Junior Energy Broker. You will receive comprehensive training to build client relationships and arrange power and gas transactions across European markets, gaining hands‑on experience in energy brokerage.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange transactions in European power and gas commodities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, hedge funds, trading houses and corporate clients.
• Support onboarding of new clients and manage ongoing relationships.
• Provide regular client updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Analyse market trends to propose profit‑driving strategies.
• Contribute to process improvements and new framework development.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology and other internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Required profile

• Strong interest in sales and the energy industry.
• Ability to work in a regulated financial services environment.
• Understanding of risk and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
