Junior IT Support Engineer

About the role

Ward & Burke are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Engineer to join their IT team. The role provides day‑to‑day technical assistance to users across office and site locations, offering hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, and networking.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to end‑users via phone, email and in‑person.
• Configure and deploy PCs for new and existing staff using Microsoft Intune.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches and wireless access points.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues promptly.
• Deliver basic training on Microsoft 365, SharePoint and other company tools.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Full driving licence and access to a car for site visits.
