About the role

Join Sprout’s kitchen team in Cornelscourt as a Kitchen Assistant. You will help keep the kitchen running smoothly, from daily set‑up and food preparation to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen set‑up, prep vegetables and other ingredients.
• Follow cleaning checklists to ensure every surface and piece of equipment is spotless.
• Adhere to prep procedures and kitchen SOPs for efficient operations.
• Observe food safety and allergen protocols rigorously.
• Support the General Manager in health and safety matters.
• Provide extra help during busy periods, especially the lunch rush.

• Enthusiastic about fresh food and seasonal produce.
• Team‑player who enjoys supporting colleagues.
• Curious and eager to learn new kitchen practices.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in delivering quality work.

Required skills

• Good level of English for understanding instructions.
