About the role

Join Sprout’s kitchen team and help deliver fresh, delicious dishes every day. You’ll work in a fast‑paced environment, supporting food safety, hygiene and flavour standards while developing your culinary skills.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all food safety protocols and ensure every dish meets the highest safety standards.
• Maintain a spotless kitchen, sanitising equipment and work surfaces regularly.
• Identify allergens and ensure proper handling to protect customers.
• Prepare ingredients according to prep sheets, keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
• Focus on taste and presentation, delivering consistent flavour across all dishes.
• Know the menu, ingredients and standard operating procedures inside out.
• Assist the Kitchen Leader with stock checks, rotation and overall kitchen operations.

Required profile

• Passionate about food and excited by fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Curious and eager to learn new techniques and improve daily.
• Positive, value‑driven work ethic with a strong team spirit.
• Enjoy the buzz of a restaurant environment and take pride in great service.
• Reliable, organised and attentive to detail in portioning and plating.
• Good level of English to follow instructions and communicate with teammates.

Required skills

• Basic knife skills and ability to work safely with kitchen equipment.
• Understanding of food safety and allergen handling procedures.
